I have found a really effective way to clean your makeup brushes, that is really fun at the same time.
1. Fill a bowl with olive oil. Start massaging the brush through it. Run your fingers through the bristles and watch as a bunch of cream colored liquid starts coming out. Massage it through the oil again and again until absolutely nothing else is coming out.
2. Go to the sink and rinse the brush with cold water until the water is running clear.
3. Fill another bowl with warm soapy water. Massage the brush through that and run your fingers through the bristles. You will be surprised that more will come out even though you thought it was clean. Massage the brush through the water until nothing comes out.
4. Rinse brush at the sink with cold water again.
5. Fill a small bowl with vinegar and massage the bristles through that.
6. Rinse with cold water once more.
7. Leave all brushes you cleaned on a towel to dry for about 10 hours. You want them to dry completely so when you dip them in your loose powder everything doesn't turn to mud.
8. Do this once every week, or if you are busy, every two weeks.
After I get done cleaning my brushes, I always feel so self-satisfied for some reason. :) haha. Now you can apply your makeup knowing there isn't a bunch of bacteria getting on your face.
